Mikhailtech Double Milestone: 7,000,000 hits, 50,000 posts!!!

Finally! Today around the same time our main site reached 7,000,000 page views since we started using Microsoft's BCentral tracker in April of 2001. Our forums also hit the 50,000 post mark. A huge thank you goes out to everyone for making this happen!! Our traffic is constantly rising on both the site and the forums and once my coop quarter begins (since I'll be cooping for myself and therefore working on the site full time) we'll be starting up some new sections and bringing in more staff.

Last but not least, although a bit ambitious, let's see if we can get to 100,000 posts or more by the end of this year :)

lol, when did you start the forums? if you started in 2001, good lucky doubling what you got in 4 years in 1 year.

It was somewhere around there (I don't remember exactly). The thing is, for about a year Mikhailtech died down. It was still online, but I barely updated it. That was the dark age. So it's possible; we'll see. Of course a more realistic goal would be 75,000.

I think it is the fact that this site has such a great administrator that you were able to reach those milestones. So keep up the good work, Mikhail.

Yep, that's why you see very few members who joined in 2003. Most of the current senior members came in 01-02, but now we're seeing a lot of people from 04-05.
